What has white got to do with it?
BT Sport is covering Man City’s game with Rio Ferdinand & Joleon Lescott as their two experts.
Both former Champions league players with something to add

Re: West Ham women react to “sexist” tweets.
So, NB, this agenda you speak of.....are you against the promotion of women in general, or just in the sporting realm?

Don't you think it's time that the Old Boys Club of commentary and punditry was broken down?

Or would you just prefer that all of your commentary is done by middle-aged, white, male, former players?

Is that because you prefer to only listen to people like yourself, or are you afraid of a little bit of diversity, and perhaps a couple of pesky women breaking through and actually having something genuine to offer?

Re: West Ham women react to “sexist” tweets.
As regards tv coverage some women hosts are very good ... Gabby Logan is much better than Lineker ... and some male pundits (J Redknapp T Henry etc) are awful but if you are going to have experts on to talk about a Premier league game I don’t think a female Burnley fan who played in goal has much to add.
Or at least should wait her turn to be in that position on merit.
Some decent pundits like say Liam Rosenior have had their opportunities restricted because the inferior Alex Scott has a vagina.
I believe

dreaming well what else do you call it, already stated that I'm happy for the female game (is that ok to say) to evolve, but I played at a higher level than some of the female pundits on the football programmes and it's not just football, it's almost every main sport now, someone has decided at SKY to put a woman in most shows regardless of competence to push an agenda, that's what I have an issue with

I can't disagree about some of the male pundits but to know the pressures of attempting to win major trophies eg Prem Titles, EC Cups, World Cups etc you'd have to have competed in them

BTW loved the casual sexism in your post ;^)

The men's game...
Retarded way of looking at it NB

And I can point at several male footballers, commentators, reds, managers that are cunts in the highest degree.
You don't have to be a footballer to be a pundit, so I rather have a good looking woman talking sense about football that that cunt Carragher, Cole or not least Fat sam

I fucking hate that screeching bint they sometimes have commentating on MOTD. It's just fucking dreadful.

If she were a bloke and commentated like that she's be out of a job. And that is a fact.

But she is a woman in a male industry and so the BBC keep her on so they can fill their diversity quota's. The BBC can harp on all they like about having a female commentator but she sounds like a fucking mental person being sectioned and has a voice that would cut ice.

Judge on her talent not the fact she has a minge.

I agree some of the commentary is embarrassing to say the least. Almost as bad as some of the refereeing which needs to improve. Women pundits. Well let’s just say that the Male pundits ie Michael Gray have disappeared from women’s football (rightfully, he clearly didn’t watch any women’s football before).

The goalkeeping in women's sport is the funniest thing I have ever seen in any sport.

I have no interest in womens sport and no interest in their opinion on the Mens game, I'm not sure why all male sports are now flooded with female commentators but it saves me watching the analysis after Recording sports shows and watching them an hour behind really is the way forward

That said I wish them all the best and hope it's a huge success, as an aside those spouting that the female game is growing at incredible rates, not hard when you consider the low base it's coming from, total straw man that one

I'm not suggesting women shouldn't play the game.
It's an inferior product to the mens game in every way, which is why I cant watch it.
The skill level has improved over the last 10 yrs, they're still shit though.
You can be as 'right-on' as you like, put some fucking dungarees on for all i care. I still wont watch womens football.

I don't hate I am just bored of it being rammed down my throat. I have to put up with female commentators who act like they know everything when they play at a very poor level. It's all over our OS and all over BBC etc.

Then if you watch any of it the female commentators talk about goals like they are worldee's when basically there has been terrible defending and a goal keeper who can't reach half the way to the crossbar and can't stop shit anyway.

Re: West Ham women react to “sexist” tweets.
I don’t get this hatred of women’s football. There’s obviously a bit of bias there as my daughter’s at Arsenal RTC. Trains three nights a week and absolutely loves the game. All she does is kick a ball about whether that’s with Arsenal, local futsal or in the garden. Been to watch a few women’s matches and it’s entertaining.

The more it’s given airtime the more positive female role models she has and that has to be a good thing in this day and age.

And she has a WHU season ticket and loves that too. What’s to get angry about? If you don’t like it don’t watch it. I don’t watch reality TV but didn’t slag it off every time Harry ate a grub in the jungle.

Re: West Ham women react to “sexist” tweets.
Good luck to the girls, seem like a decent bunch and nice to see them doing well and I bet young girls love going to watch them and look up to them more than they do men's footballers.

Way of the world that people just like to moan about everything, when in reality it's simple to just not watch it.

I mean I think Basketball and Ice Hockey are shit, so instead of shouting it from the rooftops, I just don't watch them and appreciate that millions love the sports.

Course the female game isn't anywhere near the men's, but doesn't mean they don't have a right to make a living out of the game.

Truly not bothered about them promoting the women's team. I look out for their results and if they get to the cup final, I'll probably go to Wembley to watch them. They are West Ham at the end of the day.

I'm also looking forward to supporting England at the world cup this year. even if you can stand the quality of it, at least enjoy the competitiveness of it.

Weird mentality to have if you get negative feelings every time you hear mention of the womens game. Its the usually same people that go 'why isn't there an international mens day?'

Re: West Ham women react to “sexist” tweets.
On the few clips shown that I see, some great passing and shooting in the women's game.

Defensive play and goalkeepers are terribly terrible though. Which makes it all a bit farcical. But it will get better. I hope.

Good luck to any Hammers, male or female.

HA HA HA

I have full confidence that as a Kiwi male your only sexual interest is in big burly South Sea Islanders in black jerseys
The girls are at no risk WHATSOEVER
